What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Divorce after pensionable age. I went onto Unbiased and Tom was the first person to answer, in which I was fortunate

Despite and extremely protracted divorce Tom helped me through it and made sure that finally I have a settled income and investment programme. He also mwet with my children and explained my finances to them. in addition he put me in touch with an excellent wills and probate advisor so that I could remake my will.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I have enough money to live on comfortably without any worries. If I had a problem I know I would be able to ring Tom for advice. He also makes a personal visit each year. I trust him. He is both efficient and friendly.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

When I reached the age of 55 I needed help to get all of the relevant information together from various pensions. I then needed advice on how to manage these pensions and where to invest and how to withdraw a monthly amount.

Tom has really helped with a personalized approach. He took time to help me understand my financial situation, risk tolerances and long term objectives before helping me with a plan tailored specifically to my needs.

Definitely. Due to Tom consistently monitoring my finance plan and updating me on a regular basis I am very pleased with the outcome I was hoping for.

I feel that due to Tom,s commitment and advice, his attention to detail and proactive communication have given me peace of mind , knowing that my financial future is in capable hands

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We had a sum of money in a building society account earning very little interest and as I was planning for retirement we wanted to secure our finances. We searched for Financial Advisers and after seeing a photograph of Tom alongside his company details we determined he was man for us and we were right.

How has Thomas Richardson helped you?

Invested our finances. Updated our will and provided a service for Power of Attorney for health and money. Tom was also available to offer advice when my mother had some financial problem.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Very much so. Tom and his team have always been available. If Tom is out of the office I leave a message and he gets straight back to me. He even responded to a query I had on the day of his daughters wedding. Now that’s dedication!

I was approaching my retirement, I needed advice on consolidating two personal pensions with the view to accessing a retirement income.

Tom advised on an investment platform, later consolidating both my pensions and setting up a drawdown.

On the whole, yes, considering we have been through difficult times such as Covid, Ukraine & the Liz Truss debacle.
